Traffic Sign Recognition Calibration
Traffic Sign Recognition Calibration covering North Yorkshire - John Hall Mobile ADAS Calibration
A vehicle’s ability to read traffic signs, such as speed limits, is done by a front-facing camera giving a wide-angle view of the road ahead. The ADAS uses complex, embedded software to read road signage commissioned by traffic regulatory bodies, and provides useful feedback to the driver in real time.
As part of the ADAS in a vehicle, the traffic sign recognition camera and software should be calibrated at least every three years, and after any bump, collision, or repair and maintenance work in the vicinity of the front-facing camera. John Hall Mobile ADAS Calibration has the specialist equipment and required training and qualifications to carry out ADAS calibration services on your garage premises, for your customers.
The ADAS calibration work I do is always carried out to IIR (Insurance Industry Recommendations) and Thatcham guidelines, including a complete digital audit trail to fulfil your liability to customers if ever required. As such my work is also fully guaranteed.
